This is a postcard from early 1950s. The actual date is unknown. It was produced by E.K. Woolcott & Co., Southend-on-Sea and has the ref BKS 6 (so there must be another 5 at least of BKS)

The message reads "Weighed Case only. Have reached Lyons. Travelled over clouds 166 mph at 7500ft. Came on far plane. Going on to Calvi in 15 mins. Love Janet "

This ties in with the Airline History. In 1953 BKS flew two DC3 services a week from Southend to Corsica for Horizon Holidays offering 14 days holiday for under £40 Unfortunately the date on the postcard is unreadable.
