Searching the Internet this morning I found John Newby former Station Mangager LHR/Sales Manager London and he alerted me to the website. Talk about old times. Several names came up and I've sat here trying to remember all the good times as well as the bad.

I did two stints with BKS/Northeast. The first as Reservations Supervisor London, Building 224 Northside (1963/5) and again as Passenger Services Officer LHR, (1967/70) initially Terminal 2 Domestic Annex, then Terminal 1, (early shift on the day it opened, the day that British Eagle went bust) followed by a year or so with London Sales based at Hodford House before all four of us salesmen (Tony McHale, Paddy Blake, Bernie Harris and I) were transferred as of the next day to BEA. Two years later it was British Airways. For the next few months as a Salesman whenever I said 'we' I had to remember who 'we' were. I'd worked for 4 airlines in 4 years and had only applied for one job.

Keep up the good work and I'll keep looking for new entries on the website
