Recreation areas

The village has several recreation areas – the Ted Marriage recreation field at Wyatts Green, the Mill Lane Play Area and the Walter Hobbs Recreation Field by the Village Hall. These facilities are run by the Recreation Committee, who make sure that they are kept in good order.

Also within the parish, and close to the Village Hall is the Blackmore Sports Arena (formerly “Multi-Use Games Area”). This brand new facility will be run by the Village Hall, while the land, and part of the funding, have been provided by the Parish Council.

here is also the Millennium Park , an open, grassed area with footpaths and tables. This is the site of the summer music festival, and of the November Guy Fawkes fireworks display. And of course there are the football and cricket facilities.
