Youth Centre

This was closed by Essex County Council at the same time as the library. Plans were announced to use some of the money raised from the sale of the site to build a new Centre for Young People next to the Village Hall. However, this funding will not cover the whole cost of the development. Discussions on alternatives are continuing, and a new planning application will be made.

n addition, Brentwood Borough Council have offered to provide evening buses for youngsters which will enable visits to neighbouring towns. As yet, there are no details.
