Charity: Little Havens Children's Hospice

This biennial event takes place this year with a' Musicals' theme;
our headline charity is Little Havens Children's Hospice.
The Fayre in 2005 raised over £25.000 which was split between
Essex Air Ambulance and local organisations.

Saturday 12th May

The festivities start on May 12th with The Wheat whoppers Ball, gentlemen in smocks and ladies dress as wenches for a night of barn dancing including dancing around the Maypole.
Friday 25th May

On Friday 25th we hold a variety show with a traditional tea served while you are entertained with an old time music hall extravaganza. In the evening there is a disco for local children, both these events are in the village hall.
Saturday 26th May

Starts with a morning of sporting challenges, these take place on Walter Hobbs Field and on Blackmore's new multi use games area, also on Saturday morning the very young children will be enjoying a party in the village hall. During the afternoon, and throughout the fayre weekend, the Baptist church will be holding a flower festival. In the evening come along to the village green and dance the night away to live bands, refreshments including jacket potatoes and bbq will be available.
Sunday 27th May

We have our open air church service, this is held in The Bull Public House car park, refreshments are available after the service. At 12.30pm the Grand Parade starts off an afternoon of fun packed entertainment which includes games, sideshows, displays, craft stalls and much more, there will be a variety of food on sale including hog roast, bbq and strawberries and cream. Our evening event is held in the village hall, the bar will be open as will the karaoke mike, and you can cast your vote in Blackmore's very own Z FACTOR final.
Monday 28th May

The day starts off with a pet show and finishes with the Clarkes Carpets Sponsored Cycle Ride, in between these two events there is another day of craft stalls including a farmers market, bouncy castles, rides and much more.
