Social Blackmore

(or the Where to drink in Blackmore)

The Leather Bottle
The original building was destroyed by fire. The old building was adjacent to an area known as "Horse Fair" and probably received the name when there was a leather industry in the village where tanning took place.

The Prince Albert

Dating back to 1757. It is almost as it was built, and has always been a public house.

Please visit the Prince Albert Website for more information.

The Bull Public House

The Bull was built around the year 1385 and is a fine example of medieval construction with a wealth of exposed beams throughout and other curiosities including a priest hole and an escape tunnel from the time of the Reformation. Haunted by at least three ghosts- seen by staff and customers alike for many years- the Bull is packed tight with atmosphere and a feeling of days gone by.
For more information and menus please visit The Bull.
