The Wessex Regional Group of the Arab Horse Society is a non-profit making organisation which was formed in the 1970's for the following purposes:
These activities are organised and controlled by an elected committee of members according to the rules and regulations contained in the written constitution of the Group.
The Group became a limited company associated to the Arab Horse Society in 2005 and changed its name to The Wessex Arabian Horse Group.
This list is provided to help members know of others in their locality.
It is hoped that long-standing members will be able to help/guide new members
especially.
Anybody wishing to make initial contact with another member on this list
should ask the Membership Secretary for details.
Please note that not all of the following towns and cities lie within the rather vague 'boundaries' of the Wessex Region. There is no restriction imposed that members must reside within 'Wessex', however that may be defined.

Membership confers the following rights:
Annual subscriptions are due for payment at the beginning of January each year and are currently set at the following rates:
Arrangements can be made for subscriptions to be paid automatically
via bank standing order.

NB. It is each member's responsibility to ensure that such Standing Order instructions
do specify the current membership rate.
Newsletters and Schedules will not be sent to those who have not submitted the full
renewal subscription by 31st March, as their membership will be regarded as having lapsed.
Partial payment of the subscription will be treated as a donation to Group funds.
Preferential entry fees for Wessex Group events will only be available for members
who have fully paid the current subscription.

Associate and Family Associate membership was available to those who were not also members of the Arab Horse Society. These classes of membership became defunct when the Wessex AHS Regional Group became the Wessex Arabian Horse Group.
