Hoofprints in the Sand

2005 saw the introduction of a new award to commemorate horses which have been outstanding examples and ambassadors of the Arabian Horse breed. This will not necessarily be awarded every year but will depend on the achievements made by Arabian horses during each year or over a period of years.
Why not come to this year's AGM and see if another horse has been considered worthy?

Group Chairman, Gloria Ayub, presenting Finn Guinness with the first "Hoofprints in the Sand" award to mark the success of the Biddesden Stud's Part-Bred Arab, Tamarillo, during the previous year of Eventing and the recognition that he has brought to Arab Horse breeding.
The next year, the award was made to Miss Tiffany McCarthy in recognition of the achievements of her grey purebred Arab stallion, Silvern Risalm.
In 2007, Miss Jo Marsh was presented with the award for her achievements on her 21 year old grey purebred Arab stallion, Magic Hussar, with the distinctive brown patch around his right eye.
2008 saw a further award made to Mrs D Whittome for the achievements of her grey purebred Arab stallion, Imad.
