José Calvo

Born: 3 March 1916, Madrid, Spain.
Died: 16 May 1980, Los Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
Sometimes credited as: Pepe Calvo.

He is most familiar as Silvanito the innkeeper in Sergio Leone's influential 'A Fistful of Dollars'.

He appeared in many other films of the genre including roles as Doctor Strips in 'The Price of Power', and Bill the eccentric old man that befriends Scott Mary in 'Day of Anger' - both directed by Tonino Valerii.
