Joseph CottenBorn: 15 May 1905, Petersburg, Virginia, USA. His friendship with Orson Welles landed him one of his first screen roles in the much-celebrated 'Citizen Cane' - what a break! He worked again under Welles' direction in 'The Magnificent Ambersons' and the two starred together in 'The Third Man'. Of his Spaghetti Western roles, he appears in one of the best - Sergio Corbucci's 'Hellbenders' where he plays Jonas, a psychotic former Confederate officer - and what is supposedly one of the worst - 'White Comanche'. He also starred in Mario Bava's 'Baron Blood' where 'He sought the ultimate in human agony... with instruments of torture ghastly beyond belief!' (MU-HA-HA-HA). As well as an impressive list of films to his name, he made frequent cameo T.V. appearances in the likes of 'Wagon Train', 'The Rockford Files' and 'Fantasy Island'.
