Cris Huerta

Born: 26 January 1935, Lisboa, Portugal

The actor most often mistaken for Sergio Leone.

Let me explain. It is often reported that Sergio Leone has a cameo role as a Hotel Desk Clerk in 'Cemetery Without Crosses'. However, whatever the reasoning behind this argument, and it may well be true that Leone was offered the cameo, it is Cris Huerta that appears on screen.

Cris Huerta is another regular face of the Spaghetti Westerns, often appearing as a Mexican bandit.

By the way, it has also been incorrectly reported that Leone plays the station ticket seller in 'Once Upon a Time in America'. If you want to see Leone on film then watch 'The Bicycle Thief'.
