Antonio Sabato's first screen role was as racing car diver Nino Barlini in John Frankenheimer's Grand Prix (1966).
After his Hollywood debut, he appeared almost predominately in European productions - mostly Spaghetti Westerns, Giallos and Euro-crime thrillers.
But, he also has an uncredited role in Roger Vadim kitsch sci-fi adventure Barbarella.
His son, Antonio Sabato Jr, is also now an established actor - in Hollywood. They both have appeared together in two movies - the action thriller 'High Voltage' and the comedy 'Wasabi Tuna'.Spaghetti credentials:
