Benito Stefanelli

Died: December 1999.

A supporting actor in many Spaghetti Westerns.

But Stefanelli's contribution to the genre was much greater than just that. He worked as a stunt co-ordinator and 'master of arms' for many of the films. He was a frequent collaborator with Sergio Leone, and can take some credit for the unique stylisation of the Italian Western due to his input to the gunfight choreography of 'A Fistful of Dollars' - the film that would define the look of the Western All'Italiana.
