John Steiner

Born: 7 January 1941 Chester, Cheshire, England.

The English Character actor had a successful career portraying villains in Italy.

He has given memorable performances in two of the best Spaghetti Westerns. In 'Tepepa' he plays Doctor Henry Price opposite Tomas Milian in the lead role, and in 'Mannaja' he brings to the screen all his villainous charisma as the evil Voller.

He also appeared in Silvestro's 'Deported Women of the SS Special Section', supposedly one of the better Italian Nazi prison camp movies, and Tinto Brass' 'Salon Kitty' the same year.

As well as working on several occasions with Lucio Fulci, Steiner appeared in Mario Bava's last film 'Shock', and he meets a memorable end with an axe in Dario Argento's 'Tenebrae'.

He now lives in California where he runs a successful real estate business.
