Frank Wolff

Born: 11 May 1928 San Francisco, California, USA.
Died: 12 December 1971, Rome, Italy.

Another American actor that was forced to travel to Europe for a successful career. One of his best, but briefest, performances was as Brett McBain in Leone's 'Once Upon a Time in the West' and he brought much needed light relief as the sheriff in Corbucci's 'The Great Silence'.

He also gave commentary to the 60s documentary 'Westerns Italian Style', a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the movies.

Another memorable performance was in Enzo G.Castellari's Giallo 'The Cold Eyes of Fear'

Sadly, he committed suicide in 1971.
