Self proclaimed astronomy expert, with no experience whatsoever. Caught lying to sci-astro after claiming to have seen the 12^th planet through an observatory grade telescope in 2001, although it still can’t be seen now some twelve months later with more sensitive Infra red CCD imaging.

Alleged 12th planet sightings

On the 19^th April Steve Havas, TT-group member and astronomy based representative for Nancy posted to the sci-astro group claiming to have visually sighted the 12^th planet from an observatory in Canada.

It's right THERE, right out in the plain OPEN for anyone to see who has access to a telescope at a half decent OBSERVATORY. Amateurs will have difficulty SEEING it at this time as it nearly blends into the background but they will not have to wait much LONGER. It's a ****big, round, dark circle with kind of fuzzy edges**** and it will probably give you a chill if you SPOT it. Don't let the numerous negative posters CONFUSE or DISSUADE you. It's their JOB, and they are NOT here to help. They can look back on their ACTIONS and decide if they acted with HONOUR. Observe and decide for YOURSELF. Nancy is NOT the enemy. She is here to give those who seek the TRUTH a chance at finding it for THEMSELVES. Seek, and you WILL find it. [Note the date April 2001. So far there has been no other visual sightings, even now some 19 months later it has not been seen. According to Nancy the new images represent the fabled 12th, faint even by CCD imaging so how could Steve Havas have seen it in 2001? He couldn’t and was obviously lying. Havas is now trying to convince everyone that recent images taken by his equipment shows conclusively that the 12th planet exists at Nancy’s co-ordinates. However as none of the so-called tt-astronomy “experts” have any experience analysing the CCD images they haven’t a clue how to filter out unwanted “noise”. However this fact does not appear to be deterring their claims.]
