Sarah,
(sarahmac@hotpop.com
also
known as “Silk” on the IRC,)
another
sci-astro frequenter, dislikes Nancy’s intrusion on the science based
group and has been trying her hardest to repute Nancy’s claims and
basically give Nancy the roughest ride possible in order to stop her
posting. To this end Sarah joined the Zetatalk IRC and occasionally pops
in, along with Michael Cunningham to quiz Nancy and her astronomy
“experts,” although this is usually seen as both debunking
techniques and disruption which can and does brings on the wrath of the
zeta-faithful. Interestingly their questions are rarely acknowledged let
alone answered, despite Zetatalk being the only public forum where Nancy
actually allows questions. Of
late Nancy has resorted to verbal attacks, showing considerable
frustration with their interference which resulted in her being
“booted” from her own IRC and which led to the set up of a closed
and wholly separated IRC run by yet another zeta-faithful known as
QueenVee.

Session
Start: Sat Dec 28 13:23:03 2002
Session Ident: #zetatalk
[15:06]
<Silk> Hey Steve, I see
your blotches didn't move on the images
[15:07] <Silk>
Steve? No comment?
[15:08] <obany>
Silk: HUSH
[15:08] <SteveH>
Silk, your comments and opinions are irrelevant to me
[15:08] <Silk>
Gee Obany, I can't talk to Steve?
[15:09] <NancyL>
Maybe Silk would like to explain the NEW star that keeps moving, etc,
right ON the Zeta coordinates.
[15:09] <Silk>
http://m1.aol.com/deepspacegirl/dec27.html
[15:09] <NancyL>
Apparently, all she can do is come in there and snarl.
[15:09] <Silk>
There you go
[15:09]
<Silk> No star, noise on images, last 6 prove it
[15:09] <NancyL>
Poor looser, Silk, the game is up but she can't admit that.
[15:09] <obany>
Silk: already made a comment on sci.astro that there is nothing there
[15:09] <Silk>
Hardly nancy, I'd say the game is up for you
[15:10] <jwilliam>
This noise moves , gets brighter and follows a path " Amazing
noise"
[15:10] <Silk>
Moves with the scope Dell, how obvious - my kids even saw it
[15:10] <Silk>
And what magnitude has it increased from Dell?
[15:11] <SteveH>
noise is random, a large spot of light being caught by the CCD on all
images is not noise
[15:11] <jwilliam>
Silk: your grasping at straws. Why? I don't know.
[15:11] <Silk>
It is when it moves with the scope Steve
[15:11] <Silk>
and all the stars don't
[15:11] <obany>
silk because well you indoctrinate your kids probably
[15:11] <Silk>
Harly Obany. I let them do the analysis so they could learn
[15:12] <Silk>
And they did it much better than Dell
[15:14] <Silk>
No comment on those GIF's Steve?
[15:14] <SteveH>
The last comments IMO had for the Dec 4 images was that there was indeed
a new "stellar" object on the images. Strangely, he has been
silent since then...
[15:15] <jwilliam>
Ho hum, Silk your mental thrusts are done with a dull blade. Your
capacity to think is overwhelmed by your attempts to fit in with your
crowd.
[15:15] <Silk>
No he did not say it was a "stellar" object
[15:15] <Silk>
J William, Your insults are amusing
[15:15] <SteveH>
I guess for IMO to confirm that there has been new objects on the
subsequent images would be out of line for the debunking moto
[15:15] <Silk>
http://m1.aol.com/deepspacegirl/dec27.html
[15:15] <Silk>
See there Steve
[15:16] <Silk>
http://m1.aol.com/deepspacegirl/dec14.html
[15:16] <Silk>
or there
[15:17] <NancyL>
Silk, however, is going to give you her address. She's SO sure she
is RIGHT.
[15:17] <Silk>
yeah right, trying to intimidate me Nancy?
[15:17]
<Silk> really STO
[15:18] <Silk>
Why Mike O?
[15:18] <Silk>
what's that going to prove?
[15:18] <Mike-O>
So, Silk isn't saying where he/she lives. Called her bluff.
[15:18] <Silk>
Nancy knows where I live, and that's enough for me
[15:19] <Silk>
Mike, intinidation won't work with me, give it up
[15:19] <Mike-O>
Silk, you mean HONESTY won't work with you. Sorry, and good night.
[15:19] <Silk>
Bye Mike, run away
------o------
I
could fill an entire site with Sarah’s contributions so you’d be
better checking her out on the sci-astro Usenets, and Zetatalk IRC.
