The Roundhouse Floor

This page holds a few small photos taken by Cathi while the floor was being built. I know other photos were also taken. If you have any I'd like a copy!

The floor was mostly done during Field Group Summer Camp in 2001 by a small group of us who were not skilled carpenters. Maybe one day I might write about it. It was a great thing to have shared and done - notwithstanding any difficulties we met.

I think this was taken at the October Gathering of that year (?)

Just nice to have something to show it in use. The light and sound and the quality of the space has been lifted.

The ceiling also got a coat of pigment soon after. This also raised the roundhouse vibe. I'd love to do more to this place but first we must get the showers through!
