In 2006 the Hollingwood After School club was
awarded a grant to provide free mobile crèche services for two years
to support organisations working with unemployed parents and carers
in order to help them return to the labour market.
Aim of the project
The aim of the project is to provide
free childcare for parents and carers who are socially and
economically deprived, allowing them to take up learning
opportunities, job search activities, to increase their confidence
and skills to return to the labour market.
