Poetry 4 Charity is a new local website designed and run by me in memory of my late father who died of cancer in 2003. After 6 months of suffering with gall bladder cancer he sadly passed away on the 16^th March 2003 at the Ashgate Hospice in Chesterfield.
 

During his final years in retirement my father wrote over 125 poems and his dream was to see them published into a book, but unfortunately that never happened because of his ill health. I promised him that I would get them published somehow and this website is the result of my promises to him.

My fathers poetry reflect his personal character and about his life growing up and living in Dronfield.
They will surely bring back memories to some people and hopefully make enjoyable reading for everyone.

I voluntary run the website on a not for profit basis and is totally dedicated to raising funds for UK Charities.
 

To help raise funds for charities I would like to offer the opportunity for any local business to advertise FREE on my website in return for a donation to a charity.
 

Poets young and old can also submit and contribute their poems to help raise funds for charity.
