New Mills Community Festival
New Mills Community Festival provides two weeks of events in
September each year. These cover all ages and interests - arts,
science, music, comedy, crafts. The festival's climax is a lantern
procession on the final Saturday.
Held during 15th September to 30th September in 2007.
Most events under £5.00, many are free and are mainly targeted at
local residents.

The Staveley ADHD Parent Support Group is for parents and carers who
look after children with behavioural difficulties and/or diagnosed
with ADHD. The group is a place for people to discuss coping
strategies and to receive help and support. The group is also a
great place to socialise over a cuppa!

Third Piper Community Arts (Chesterfield)

Third Piper has existed since 1985 to provide a full range of
arts and crafts activities throughout North Eastern Derbyshire.
In the past few years Third Piper has run a major Digital
Creativity project throughout the area known as 'smartArtz'. All
activities are carried out at host organisation premises and all
staff are trained in child protection and possess an enhanced
disclosure certificate from the Criminal Records Bureau.
Third Piper is a registered charity and, since 2005, can operate
anywhere in Derbyshire.
