Chesterfield Astronomical Society

The Clay Cross Chess team enter chess leagues, organise club events and help beginners develop chess skills.

Dronfield Footpaths & Bridleways Society

Holds regular working parties to improve and repair footpaths, including clearing undergrowth, and repairing stiles and gates. There is also a programme of short walks, normally two a month mid-week, and at weekends on rights of way in Dronfield and surrounding areas.
