•In the dim and distant past of February 2004 a strange group of people decided that Staveley needed a Toy Library and since then another strange group of people called volunteers worked all hours of the day until at last…
 

•On the 23rd April 2005 the Toy Library was official opened by Cllr Eunice Robinson.


A great time was had by all with a bouncy castle, face painting, a clown show, story-time, lots of stalls and competitions.

We’re open from 9.30am to 11.00am every Wednesday during term time.


There is a friendly atmosphere where the children can play and their carers can enjoy a cuppa whilst choosing which toys to borrow.

 

We’re always looking for people like you to join the volunteer gang, whether you can help out now and then or every week.. Just have a chat with Donna or Chris and we can get you involved.

WE NEED YOU!

 Our new Outreach service is now up and running so that the Toy Library is more easily accessible.  The times, days and venues are:

Mondays 9.0 - 11.00am
at Little Spikes, Poolsbrook Social Club.

Alternate Mondays 1.00 - 3.00pm
at Toddler Zone one week and Ducky Ducklings the following week.

Tuesdays 1.30-3.00pm
at Little Angels, The Chantry, Middlecroft.

Wednesdays 9.30 - 11.00am
at The Stables, Staveley Hall, Staveley.

Please note that this is term time only.

We offer toy loans, stay and play, coffee and a friendly chat.
Loan prices are 30p - 50p per toy per fortnight.
Refreshments are £1.00 for tea/coffee, squash and snack.
