About us!
We are a family run business that we established in April 1988. Dad Tony with sisters Caroline and Sarah and our super (sadly unrelated) assistant Mark, run the stunning Burning Sensation fireplace showrooms in Armstrong Street, Grimsby. Dedicated to provide you with an excellent degree of service with quality products from the moment you enter the showroom. You are encouraged to enjoy the displays at your leisure with our knowledge and expertise readily on hand when you need it. Our own in-house Gas Safe Register & HETAS installation services are known throughout the area as one of the best, with great attention to detail.
About our showroom:
On opening in April 1988 – Burning Sensation (Grimsby) Ltd’s aim was and still is, to provide a fireplace showroom where our customers had the welcome feeling of walking into a relaxing & cosy atmosphere, almost like going home!
Our original showroom started out with only ten displays, where-as today we offer our customers a selection of around seventy displays to choose from in a variety of room settings!
In 1994 we extended our showroom and opened our ‘Discount Corner’. The aim of this room was to provide good quality fireplace products at low prices for those on a smaller budget. We’ve found that our ‘Discount Corner’ has almost become a social meeting place for first time buyers & for people who renovate & rent properties, as our prices in here often start from only £249 for a wood surround & marble set & from £384 for a complete package of; surround, marble back panel, hearth & electric fire!
In 1998 we extended the displays once again, this time adding our ‘Gallery’, so named as this long room had the feeling of an art Gallery with our lovely selection of prints & mirrors which complemented the stunning range of marble, wood & cast iron fireplaces.
With Contemporary designs hitting the fireplace industry from the Millennium, we decided to add our ‘Contemporary Room’ in 2002, rather than try to mix these modern and minimalist styles in with our existing range of more traditional fireplaces. This room has proven to be a great success, particularly the range of hole in the wall gas & electric fires and unusual designs of fireplaces.
Never wanting to sit still for any time, we have completed our most recent extension, our ‘Classic Room’. Our aim with this room is to show off some of the timeless and classic fireplaces that stand proud in any room. These fireplaces have been around for many years and we believe will continue to be as popular in the future. The styles of these fireplaces mix well in both traditional and more modern room settings.

Opening times: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday 9.30am to 4.00pm. We are closed on Bank Holidays and Sundays and over the Christmas period we have a short holiday.
