CHOOSE THE BEST: Burning Sensation (Grimsby) Ltd is registered to issue the relevant certificate for fireplace installations. The certificate is provided on day of installation & is not subject to additional cost! Along with this – we also notify Gas Safe Register of any gas installation & HETAS for solid fuel installations & they in turn will send you their notification certificate usually within 4 weeks of the installation date. With over twenty-one years of experience installing fireplaces & fires you can be sure of a top quality finish.
COST: As every installation is different it is extremely difficult to set a standard price for fitting a fireplace. However, when you visit the showroom & talk to one of our members of staff we can give you a guide based on the fireplace you have chosen & the information you provide. A full written cost for the installation of your chosen fireplace will be given after a site visit - we make a very small charge for the site visit which is fully refunded against your installation cost when you proceed with our quotation in full.
DID YOU KNOW?: Section J Building Regulations: All fireplace installations, be it for gas, solid fuel or electric, must be installed in accordance with the current national & local building regulations & a commissioning certificate should be provided by the fitter at time of installation. This commissioning certificate is separate to the certificate you will receive direct from Gas Safe Register for the gas work or HETAS for solid fuel work.
GAS SAFE REGISTER: As from April 2009 the old CORGI registration scheme ended & the new governing body for gas installations is the Gas Safe Register. We are registered for natural gas work & our installer will be happy to show you his registration card upon request. Our registration number is 194451.
HETAS: this is the governing body for all installations of solid fuel appliances, be it an open fire grate or a multi-fuel stove. We are registered with HETAS & our installer will be happy to show you his registration card upon request, our registration number is 2349.
