Project Design

Larger projects are designed on client supplied floor plans in either paper form, or 3.5" floppy disc. Smaller projects can be surveyed, and drawings prepared.

Designs are produced following a preliminary meeting to discuss outline requirements, aesthetics etc. A second meeting follows the design submission to confirm our interpretation of your requirements, and approval of our design, prior to pricing.

Lighting designs are produced from purpose built software, or occasionally, manually, for the more specialised applications. Power distribution is calculated in accordance with specific client requirements. Fire alarm and emergency lighting installations are designed in accordance with the statutory requirements

It is sometimes necessary to provide samples, to display lighting effects that cannot be appreciated from design drawings.

It is a joint effort between the client, and the designer to provide a correctly interpreted scheme.

The real beauty of a contractor designed installation, is an understanding of possibilities between contractor and client, reducing the probability of expensive variations caused by a lack of installation experience from a 3^rd party designer.

We strive to satisfy client requirements, without “extras” and hidden costs, a concept inherently alien to the construction industry.
