Climbing at Cummingston

Cummingston is about a mile east from Burghead where there are sandstone sea cliffs up to 20metres high. Climbers come from all over the country to practise their skills on over 150 climbs of all grades from beginner to extremely severe. The cliffs are also suitable for bouldering.

Given some of the sunniest, driest weather in North Scotland and also the chance of seeing passing dolphins makes the cliffs extremely popular.
