The Out of Body Experience

How 2

An odd sensation of someone blowing or lightly touching the back of your head just above the neck.

A feeling of a light electrical charge rising up your spine from the area at the tip of your backbone.

A sensation of someone whispering close to your ear. But as soon as you concentrate on what is being said...... it will disappear.

Any of these are a pre-curser to a projection or at least a partial projection. The important thing is not to become aroused or heighten your mental state through excitement. It's easy for me to say as trying to stay calm on your first few tries is well-nigh impossible, especially if you are getting results of any kind.
OK onto the next bit. Any of the following can now occur:

A feeling of being pinned down, often preceeded by the breeze on the back of the head. This rapidly escalates into total paralysis. You may only be able to move your eyes but try not to open them as the only vision you will see now is a kind of underwater blur.

Someone calling to you.

Louder whispering close to the ear.

Noises and bangs in the room.

Understandably this is where the faint-hearted are apt to give up. In my own case, I had all this thrust on me: It wasn't something I actively sought to do. But if I had, I think I would have given up all experiments at this stage. This is the placee where people believe they are being abducted by aliens especially in view of what now usually follows;

Groping, strong hands felt around the body often squeezing certain parts roughly, especially the genitals.

Odd feeling of things being pushed up the anus or the vagina.

Floating steadily in the air somewhere close to the ceiling.

Floating but zig-zagging violently around the room, often accompanied by a tugging at the base of the spine.

I hope you are still with me and still willing to give it a go. If you are not I can understand it completely. As i mentioned earlier, it is not something i ever set out to do. The worst of it is now over and as long as you haven't fallen into the alien abduction trap or woken your conscious mind by insisting there is a serial rapist in your house, you will experience the following:

Apparent full consciousness from somewhere else either in the room or further afield. You may be blind for a few moments or be aware of what looks like frogs spawn clouding your vision, but if you have guts enough to stay calm, this will clear.

The room will appear as dimly lit...... about the same lighting strength as a few candles would create.

You may be aware of other entities close by. ie a cat or dog you dont have. Just stay calm. If youve got this far. This strange new world is yours.

Briefly i will now explain what is possible from here on in. It is wise to move away from your physical body at this stage as the merest sight of it lying in bed close by is enough to bring on a severe case of the screaming hab dabs. If this occurs you will find yourself back in your body instantly.
You may want to take things slowly now and move around your house. You will notice odd exceptions to how it looks normally. Like a mirror on a wall that is not normally there or the kitchen sink now has different taps or your curtains are now patterned when they were plain before.

You may want to jump from a window! We are on the third floor and for some reason I just had to try it. To my amazement I floated down gently to the park outside and began an eerie exploration of the world outside.,
If you get fed up with this and you will eventually but it might take years, You can order yourself to travel to another country or part of your own. It is best to do this by thinking of an image of say Trafalgar Square and holding it firmly in place until the scenery appears rather than saying
"Take me to Trafalgar Square"
After all, your astral body is not a Taxi-cab!

You will find that you can now fly and this is perhaps the best part of all, although it does take some practice in control methods. Falling in the astral is just as nauseating as it is in real life. The only saviour being that you cant hurt yourself.
You can walk through walls and this is a curious thing to do as you can actually feel yourself passing through the material the door or solid is made of until you pop out the other side. You want sex. Just think about the man or woman of your dreams and he/she will appear and act and talk just like a real person. I guarantee you will not notice the difference.
Just be careful with the sex bit though. The excitement it brings on will almost certainly result in an instantaneous callback to the physical body. If you must do it, try not to get too carried away and try to accept it as just another everyday occurence. I know this hard, but excitement is the kiss of death to any oobe.

The Most Powerful OOB Trigger
Interrupted sleep patterns are the most powerful OOBE trigger there is
Now I'm going to have to delve into my personal life here a bit to try to impress upon you how powerful this idea is. Since going back to working a three shift system after a layoff of six years, I was struck by the speed at which these occurences came back to haunt me. The work pattern is a week of earlies followed by lates and then nights.
Now obviously after a week of nights I need to re-adjust my body clock to get myself ready for sleeping at night. So on the day following the last night, I don't go to bed at all, but I do regularly fall asleep for around thirty minutes to an hour while in a seated position, often cradling my head in my hand supported by the arm of the sofa. The arrangement is ideal if you don't want to fall into a deep sleep as you mind will stay relatively alert ready to stop you pitching forward should your arm slip off the armrest.
Following this day, I am always tired enough come night time to want to go to bed at a more normal hour (IE between 11pm and 1am). This is always when I am plagued by OOBEs or part OOBEs. I say part OOBEs because the experiences are often so violent and scary I would do anything to avoid them!
Instead of the more usual scenario where you are trying to relax and coax yourself into moving out into the dream state, the exact opposite occurs and I find myself quite literally having to fight them off. When working more normal hours, the experience was sporadic with a gap of not more than two weeks between each episode. Things have got so bad now that I find myself warning my long-suffering partner. "Now you'd better be ready?" While she wears her habitual "I wish he had life insurance " expression.
