Caversham Park Theatre was founded in 1966 by villagers moving on to a half-built housing estate on Caversham Park, Reading. We enjoy charity status as a section of Caversham Park Village Association. (reg no; 272950)

In a normal year we would mount 2/3 productions plus the occasional one-off event. We are mainly an acting group but have an open mind and can sing and dance with the best of them when required!
Whilst we rehearse mainly on Friday nights this may increase from time to time. An additional rehearsal on a Sunday is usually all that is necessary as we get closer to a production; we all have commitments and try not to lose sight of the fact that we are here to have fun!

Productions normally run from Thursday to Saturday although we will sometimes include a Wednesday evening and/or Saturday matinee.

Don't forget that even if you'd rather be behind the spotlight we can still offer many opportunities to shine.
