The photos shows the level of detail included in the kit. The coal spray pipe, sanding lever, bucket cock, water level gauge are all there. The view through the windows enabled the crew to see between the coal space and the coal raves for tender-first running. The flaps in the fall-plate were necessary to enable the sandboxes below to be filled. A photo of the rear of the tender is below. |

The level of detail on the rear of the tender is equally impressive. The vacuum cylinders, brake shaft, supporting bearings etc are all featured. The assembly at the rear of a Bulleid tender chassis is very characteristic of this class. The electric lamps are lost-wax castings as are the coupling hook lamp and switch box which are also featured. The kit also includes the correct shape lamp lenses. Using a jig provided in the kit, the ladders are made to the correct section from round brass wire. The
steps are lost-wax castings.
