LSWR T9 Class in 4mm scale

The model shows one of the wide batch of T9s coupled to a Drummond 8-wheel 'Watercart' tender.

The model is fitted with inside working motion which is available as an extra item

Portraying a loco in the later superheated condition the model has the extended smokebox with Urie chimney, smokebox door clamps, modified leading splashers and the sandboxes in between the frames, repositioned clack valves, modified brake-gear tender with plated coalrails.

The parts to built the model in this condition are all included in the basic kit.

 

 

As in 7mm scale,  kits for both the narrow and wide engines are also available in 4mm.

In additional to the Watercart tender, a 6-wheel Drummond tender is also available.

The turntable featured in the above photo was scratch-built by Martin and is NOT available as a kit.
