Dr Nial Tanvir

Dr Nial Tanvir is a professional astronomer based at the University of Hertfordshire, working at the cutting edge of astronomical research. In particular he is a leading international expert on Gamma Ray Astronomy, such as Gamma Ray Bursters. He has been on several astronomical TV programmes including the Sky at Night. His research group have won prestigous international awards including the EU Descartes Prize for outstanding international collaborative research on gamma-ray bursts.
