The History of Gravity by Stephen Hill

At the May meeting of our society, Stephen Hill gave a talk on the History of Gravity. The talk dealt with how mans’ ideas and theories of gravity have evolved through time, as well as including summaries of Newton’s and Einstein’s theories.

The Next Meeting

David Peachy, a member of our society, will be giving a talk at our next meeting entitled “The Origins of Life on Earth”. The meeting will be held as usual at the 'Friends Meeting House' in Granville Road, Clacton. Please note that new members and visitors are always welcome at these meetings. Visitors are very welcome but are charged a fee of £2.00.
