The November meeting was to have as its main event, a talk
about the
'Cassini-Huygens Mission'. Sadly, at short notice, the speaker was
unable to attend. Fortunately, the members were able to prepare
something for the evening.
Since, the Cassini Mission
Presentation had been advertised in the meeting program, three of our
members gathered some of the latest material from this mission and gave
a slide show. In addition to this one of the three also presented a
talk on the subject of the 'Orion Constellation'.
Both presentations were received well by an appreciative audience and
thanks were given to the speakers for their efforts.
The next meeting to be held as usual at the 'Friends Meeting House' in Granville Road, Clacton will be on 3rd December and as has become a tradition with the club, this will be a Quiz Night.
