My Last Non-Digital Astrophotos by David Pugh

The October meeting was set aside for our A.G.M. With the formal proceedings handled in their usual prompt fashion, we were able to allow our secretary David Pugh, to give the main talk for the evening. This was entitled 'My Last Non-Digital Astrophotos'. He explained having taken standard film photographs at his telescope for many years, that he was about to drag himself into the 21st Century and switch to using digital photography. As a final swansong, he wanted to present the best of his slide photos of the night sky.

The Next Meeting

The program for our next meeting in November gives one of our new members Stephen Hill, an opportunity to give a presentation. This will be a welcome change for our regular audience as they have had to endure repeated appearences of the committee members providing these informal talks over the years. Stephen will present 'Molecules in Space'. The meeting will be held as usual at the 'Friends Meeting House' in Granville Road, Clacton on November 1st 2007. Please note that new members and visitors are always welcome at these meetings. First time visitors may attend for free but subsequent visits are charged a fee of £1.50.
