The Constellation of Libra by Bob Leon
On the July 3rd meeting we began with a DVD presentation and then went on to the main event of the evening with our Publicity Officer giving one of his occasional talks on the constellations. This month he chose the Constellation of Libra. It is a rather faint constellation not easily found. Bob explained how to find it using the more obvious constellations that surround it and then went on to describe the main stars and their characteristics. He finished with a review the the history and myths associated with it.

The meeting will be held as usual at the 'Friends Meeting House' in Granville Road, Clacton . Please note that new members and visitors are always welcome at these meetings.
