These are the people our heroes have met so far on their adventures.

Farim ben Marzouk

A member of the mystical sect of Dancing Dwarves from the al-Akara mountains, Farim lost his leg during a series of unlikely adventures when, according to him, it was bitten off by an ankheg. Farim is now the proprietor of a coffee shop in the Pilgrim's District of Huzuz.

Hassan

The urbane and wealthy servant of a Lady, anxious to locate the great ruby Jamashah and if possible identify the thieves who stole, to which end he has offered a reward of five hundred dinars.

Karrig

Goblin waitress at Farim ben Marzouk's coffee shop, and possibly his adopted daughter.

Krag beni R'Maga

An ogre guide, one of the R'Maga brothers, famed for their knowledge of the city and th Grand Bazaar in particular.

Khalil al Assad al Zahiral

The Grand Caliph of Zakhara, ruler of the Enlightened world, whose constant thought is for the health and well-being of his people, his court, his family and his harim of over one hundred concubines. Grand Caliph celebrates his birthday on the 27th day of Dar, and Hassan's mistress hopes to wear the ruby Jamashah at the celebrations. May the Gods bless the Grand Caliph's loins, and grant him an heir.
