Chrome Incorporated was opened in 1994 by Ed, the first purpose built piercing studio in Wales. Chrome Incorporated do not undertake any other types of body art, only piercing.

Hygiene is the prime focus at the studio, and Ed has close links with the local Health Authority, undergoing regular inspections.

In September 1998 Ed was invited to speak to more than 80 Environmental Health experts at a conference in Doncaster, organised to discuss regulating the industry.
