| Sunday 6th June | D-Day Celebrations The Carpenters Arms will be trimmed up and offering D-Day cheer. If you have any old 1944 coins you can purchase 2 pints at 1 shilling three old pence per pint. Or bring in an old ration book for a free Sunday Roast. Prizes for D-Day dress e.g. Forties Frock, uniforms, Land Army, Fancy suits, factory wear, get into the 'spirit' with Vera Lyn and or Glen Miller big band in the background.
