We like to make this process as easy as possible. A booking form will be sent to you, to be returned to us by post, fax or e-mail. It should be accompanied by a credit card authorisation. Using e-mail, we suggest that credit card details are split into two messages. We are happy to make reservations over the phone. The deposit secures the booking and also acts as a refundable damage waiver - it will be returned in full if the booking is honoured and no damage is done. Any damage above £50 will be charged to your credit card and a damage report issued. Full payment for the first week must be received at least FOUR WEEKS in advance of your arrival and once again the same payment method applies. Subsequent weeks are then due at the beginning of the second week and from then onwards on a weekly basis. When completing the booking form please pay particular attention to the dates as arrival and departure dates are critical to our business. Check which date you fly and which date your arrive, as we would not wish to have anyone arrive unexpectedly. Check-out is 11.00 a.m but guests are welcome to leave luggage until later in the day. Check-in is normally after 3.00pm. but by arrangement clients may be able to leave luggage at an earlier time.

If for any reason you have to cancel, then please contact us immediately. Your booking constitutes a contract with us at Clarendon House Apartments and you will be responsible for the rental amount for the entire period due to us - if you cancel. The payment process is there to help you - the client. Obviously for such financial reasons we strongly recommend that guests take out cancellation insurance (a proposal form can be returned with each confirmation form if requested).
We are able to offer a personal airport pick-up service at either Heathrow or Gatwick. The costs involved with this extra service are £18 at Heathrow and £35 at Gatwick, plus receipted parking fees - which are usually around £3 to £4 depending on any delays. We monitor your flight on Teletext and plan to arrive at the airport according to your estimated touchdown time. We have to allow for traffic conditions for the journey to either airport. The total cost of the service can be paid in cash or credit card on arrival at the apartment - it is much easier to deal with this as a separate item. The costs are per collection up to FOUR guests and their luggage. |
