Putting up the frames

Frames installed

The Apex in the roof & the base constructed & we start installing the framework. Another project that was undertaken almost in the middle of Winter. The weather was not too kind.

After the frames were screwed together, including the French style doors, we calculated the angles for the rof which was a timber construction with Triple Wall Polycarbonate Sheeting as a cover.

Connecting the wallplate

Starting on the roof

Cutting the timber Wall plate before painting & fixing.

Starting the roof construction. We mount a specially made trestle on the Wall Plate to support the Ridge Beam.

Roof spars in place

Internal plastering

Most of the roof completed with Polycarbonate sheeting attached to the straight structure. Tomorrow we will cut the roofing sheets for completing the roof & then attach the Victorian capping.

With roof & glass installed along with the electrical sockets & the Central Heating radiator we can concentrate on the plastering. Where you can just see the door, used to be a window.

Looking up from the inside

The completed Conservatory

A view looking up to the ceiling with a light fan installed. Clayton Carpentry completed all the electrical work which included a new Ring Main, & plumbing work that required a radiator to be fitted.

A view of the completed Conservatory along with the Victorian Finial capping on the apex. The customer was delighted with the work & we have been asked to do some more window installations.
