Hardwood Furniture

This was from a customer who found they had a piece of equipment they really liked, the item that let it down was the case that housed it. We went to work & produced a new case based as near as possible to the original. This was made with narrow strips of dark Elm glued together to form flat panels. These panels were cut to fit the equipment, all original hinges & catches were used.

A small table produced from Sapele wood which was originally used as packing cases for the journey home from Africa. It was difficult to find suitable wood from these packing cases as it had been badly damaged during it's travels from abroad. We managed to find enough timber to incorporete a shelf that would house magazines. It was finished in wax.	Quite an unusual design of a bookcase made from veneer Mahogany & solid English Ash strips that are dowelled onto the front of every shelf. This was made to mount onto the wall & could take the weight of the shelves filled with books.

Solid Brazilian Mahogany coffee table delicately inlaid with Sycamore. This was rather a large table, only suitable for a large room. There are drawers at each end of the table for storage of magazines etc.
