One window installed

Starting to install

Starting this project was an eye opener. All the original frames were 'Built In' & nailed together with a moulded plastic strip. To remove the frames we had to negotiate our way around these 'Strips' which proved rather difficult as the they were nailed to the windows & cemented into the cavities.

All these frames in this house had to be installed from the inside as they sat behind the stone pillars. It was very difficult to remove the frames without damaging the internal decorations. However, the customer was delighted that we even managed to save the curtain rails & pelmets.

Downstairs completed starting upstairs

Upstairs in place

The sides & back of house were completed before we installed the front Bay windows. It gave us a chance of finding out how the original windows were constructed with the building work.

Here you can see how the frame are installed at the front of the house. There is still the door frame & new front doors to complete from the picture you see here.
