Cartoons are cool!!

It's been nearly a year since I wrote my first editorial for Knight of VEGETA (correct me if I'm wrong Ryoko!!) but I believe it's time for me to write another. You may remember that in my editorial I mocked DBZ/cartoons on a DBZ website, not a good thing eh? So most of you probably hate me now. (Some people hate me anyway but who care's about them?). 

Now, I just want to tell my story about that condescending editorial, and to apologize to cartoon/DBZ loving people for having little respect for something they love so much!!

During the time when I wrote my first editorial I was trying to be hateful about cartoons by mocking them constantly (for example I was quoted saying 'DBZ is crud' and that all 'cartoons are were childish').

This was probably due to the amount of peer pressure from the other cynics around me, who ferociously mocked anything animated .

I would criticize cartoons constantly, when in fact, I  loved watching them.  I was a closet hypocrite. I didn't want to say that cartoons are cool before because I was worried about what others thought. So just as Helga hides her love for Arnold (in Arnold of course!) I hid my love of cartoons because I wanted people to think I was mature and not-weird (this was hard for me as I have always been weird!). But now I couldn't care less about what anyone thinks. I've seen the light so to speak!! I'm quite proud of being weird. As one of the dynasty said to me not so long ago...You're weird!! To which my response was... I know, cool eh?!

However, I still admit DBZ is not my favorite cartoon (maybe because I have never seen enough episodes to follow the story line as I don't have sky), but there are millions of people out there who absolutely adore it! So I have no right to slag it off! So, apologies to everyone!!! Personally, I prefer X-Men, Batman, The Cramp Twins, Arnold, Arthur, anything Disney...oh, and the odd episodes of Jackie Chan and the Powerpuff girls, which are so cool!!...because cartoons ARE cool!! People shouldn't be ashamed to admit it!!

Also, I would like to comment on how pathetic some people are for mocking and making fun of the best DBZ site I have seen...Knight of VEGETA of course!! These people do not have the ability to even construct a simple website, not to mention one as cool as this. So worm...shut up!!An editorial by CJ  (Blur Lovers!)
