Edmund Corbett Capt. 88th Foot Killed in assault on the quarries 7 June 1855 (He was the son of Uvedale Corbett-Winder of Shobdon Court, Herefordshire and Mary Ann Lyon. He was a Captain in the Connaught Rangers and fell whilst leading the attack on the quarries.
