| Liquorice4 year spayed female. She is a manx and since becoming more settled, combined with an insatiable appetite and gross laziness, has put on so much weight that she now cannot reach to wash her extremities. Luquorice purrs a little more now but still is not human friendly. | |
| Rachael5 month old female. Rachel suffers from toxo plasmosis. She eats everything that comes within range and is extremely loving. Her condition inflicts the occasional fit on her which she seems to shrug off. Rachael is a classic example of why we never put a cat to sleep without a very good reason. | |
| Smokey4 year neutered male. He is still wary of everyone except other male cats (well why shouldn't it happen in the cat world?). He is however still protective of his sister and still resists attempts to pick him up. | |
| Colin5 month old male. Colin's paralysed tail and nerve damage to his bladder and bowel hopefully will sho an improvement when his tail is amputated at the time of his castration. His lack of control of bowel movements causes no distress to him (although the person whose lap he happens to be on at the time is not too happy). Colin shows nothing but contentedness with his life, a prime example of adapting to their diabilities. | |
| Zak3 legged neutered male. Pictured here with his lady friend, Zak has grown into a really handsome cat. Although growing more confident with people, he wil l never be totally at ease with them. His vocal chords, however have not suffered as he often demonstrates. | |
| Babs18 month spayed female. Babs still is a most loviing, adventurous cat despite her serious heart condition. Every day we shudder at her exploits expecting that sign that her heart is giving out. Really the only one unconcerned by it all is her. |
