Begging You

Marc Davies in Manchester, England:
Begging you strikes an equal balance between all four members of the band. Brown's lyrics and vocals are totally violent. Squire's guitar is as powerful as fuck. Mani's bass is relentless. Reni's drumming chops and stutters like an axe on a tree trunk. Begging you pointed towards a place that the roses should have ended up at after the Second Coming. The follow up album, with Reni, Mani, Brown and Squire would have sounded like begging you. Sadly, history will never support this statement. Long live Reni, Mani, Squire, Brown - Roses R.I.P. (Well put...Ed)

Swanny in Blackpool, England:
People slag this album off (Second Coming) but I think it's a top album from start to finish.

Ajay in Manchester, England:
If you listen to it as a single song not part of an album, it sounds like music that would get on radio today if under a different name. It was definately the way the Roses would have gone... I'm not sure what it would have led to, but I guess we'll never know...
