The Site Author in Findochty, Scotland:
I've choosen 'Made of Stone' as my greatest ever Roses song because it
reminds me of the times when I first began to go out drinking at the weekends.
When The Stone Roses, The Happy Mondays, The Charlatans, Northside, real
bands were what was playlisted. Then came along the 'Rave' scene, changing
clubs forever. Okay...Its nostalgic!
Pierre Calasanz in the philippines:

my neck stand on end!

I first heard it on Radio City ( or Merseyside, can't remember ) on
the day of the Hillsoborough tragedy... my next door neighbours were
at the match and I remember it being a particularly haunting song, at
a particularly haunting time. Also, mate of mine bootlegged a few 'Made
of Stone' T-shirts... no-one else had 'em and I wore one to Blackpool
Winter Gardens and got mentioned in the Melody Maker review! Cool...
oh, it's also the best song ever... which helps!

After hard days work in holiday resort, I used to sit on roof of my

Bobcorn in Liverpool, England:
The harmonies on the chorus are beautiful, an exceptional feat considering
how difficult it is to try to harmonise with someone singing so out
of tune (okay I'm not saying he didn't have stage presence- which he
obviously possesses in abundance- but one or two singing lessons would
not have gone amiss) Fantastic. (Ed...Nice one!)
