Suzanne in Aberdeen, Scotland:
My favourite Stone Roses song is Tightrope. I like the lyrics and when
i first listened to it (live in Ireland CD) i got into it straight away.
Kurt in Canada:
It hits me right.
fordy in Lancashire, England:
Royal Court Liverpool, December '95. Awesome.
The Site Author in Findochty, Scotland:
I've decided to add Tightrope as one of my favourite Stone Roses song's
as ever since I heard it live on a bootleg I own I've fallen in love
with the song. Its just pure Roses brilliance. From Ian's solo intro
to the jumpy swinging middle and the quiet end call it is excellence
in the extreme.
Chris McCorick in Nuneaton, England:
(Incorporating Tears and This Is The One) They are complete epics
from start to finish, They are brilliant in both music and lyrics. And
they just give me that tingle up the spine. I love playing them on my
guitar, in the band.
Maxine in Fife, Scotland:
Tightrope is mellow, like The Doors.
Cheezy in Edinburgh, Scotland:
Stick this tune on your beatbox on a hot summers day, sit with the one
you love with an ice cold beer and then you'll understand why I love
this classic.
Callum Iorini in Southport, England:
It is a classic acoustic track, and the lyrics make alot of sense.
Luis Manuel Lima in Oporto, Portugal:
The feeling of all the song, with a simple guitar and a great voice.
(Of course all the other voices, guitars, drums and basses are great)
Neil in Edinburgh, Scotland:
It is one of the most underrated acoustic numbers ever!. Apart from
the very folky guitar, the great backing vocals, there's some of the
most beautiful and uplifting lyrics ever. A true classic.
