Planning assistance for landowners

Do you own land which you would like to develop?  Or perhaps you have some other planning problem with which you need assistance?  Come to Community and Regional Planning Services to help find your way through the planning system!

We can assist you with:

• research into planning policy for the area or the planning history of a site
• pre-application discussions with the local planning authority
• making and following up planning applications
• liaison with architects, surveyors and other specialists
• prepare responses to planning applications made by others, if they would affect your land or premises
• commenting on development plan proposals, including the new Local Development Frameworks
• appeals and inquiries

We also undertake research and studies into land-use and spatial planning topics and provide training in the town and country planning system.
